This Friday 19th of June the whole Blockchers’ community will mingle together in an online event where a demolition pitch contest will be held. Out of this meeting, in addition to individualized Technical evaluations carried out between 15th and 17th of June, 12 teams from 18 are going to move forward to the “implementation” stage of the programme, expected to be done up to December 2020.
The objective of this new stage will be to implement DLT technologies in existing SMEs from a wide range of sectors across Europe. A company could obtain up to €50,000 equity-free at the end of the programme.
In this first stage, the 18 teams are going to receive €3,000 and a range of free trainings and services during the initial weeks of the programme.
The startups who will enter the competition are:
- Apio s.r.l. from Italy. They want to implement an advanced traceability use case to track wheat fields automate Data Entry and QR-Codes printing on products through Blockchain and Internet of Things.
- Asvin from Germany. asvin.io is using DLT for a decentralized trust layer in the distribution of updates and patches over the air (OTA).
- Bettergy from Spain. They offer investors & SMEs a digital approach for photovoltaic Power Purchase Agreements, their innovation will issue invoices according to production and prices agreed providing a trusted independent verification and lowering overhead costs.
- Blocksquare from Slovenia. They are integrating their tokenization system that will allow NAI Significa to connect banks, CRE owners/developers, and bank customers.
- CHAINSTEP GmbH from Germany. This startups offers blockchain-based end-to-end surveillance for art objects. In combining sensor technology with DLT aiming to provide reliable proof of proper handling and storage.
- ComeTogether from Greece. Proven technology. Issued, sold & validated entrance tickets for 12 events, through our own app interfacing with the protocol with a TFG that will interface through CT API and Ticketing Tools.
- Datafund from Slovenia. Private, trust-less, and decentralised storage of documents with encrypted receipts and server-less file transfer. This solution is integrated as part of lawyer office services.
- Datarella-GmbH from Germany. Traceable Donations (TD) is a donation platform that brings easy auditing and compliance into the world of donations. They want to allow donors to reconstruct the usage of IC the moment it is minted, transferred to, and burned from an NGO to transfer it back into the national currency for beneficiaries.
- DEIP from Estonia. Smart-contracts for grants distribution automation with distribution based on the results of peer-review, therefore significantly cuts efforts and time to fund the most promising and impactful projects and technology
- E-ProcessMED from Spain. They want to develop remote validation schemes that significantly minimize repudiation regarding the knowledge and understanding of informed consents generating less anxiety and stress in patients and safety for specialist
- HOP Ubiquitous (HOPU) from Spain. This use case will introduce DLT to the monitoring process to proof data reliability, monitoring equipment calibration-certificates dates, non-repudiable events and data reporting.
- Orvium from Spain. Offers a scientific repository with decentralized peer review process for authors and reviewers enabling copyright control, full traceability and recognition for stakeholders using DLT.
- Join GmbH from Germany. They want to equip industrial scales with a decentralized identity on blockchain basis, to transmit data in encrypted format to a smart contract, making it trustworthy and digitally accessible to all businesses, who rely on the weighing results.
- Minespider from Switzerland. They will track the cotton to their processing facilities (yarning/weaving/etc.) and then track the finished towels to the retail store. Consumers will scan a QR code to view their towel’s Product Passport.
- Vestigia Blockchain from Spain. They will Certificate a Blockchain system that evaluates the real water footprint and improve the sustainability companies’ activities in the strawberries, tomato and horticulture related to water consumption.
- Volvero from Italy. They created an app for vehicles sharing that connects owners with the community of drivers, leveraging a secure DLT system for vehicles monitoring and users’ awareness.
- VOTTUN from Spain. They will track food origin and provide transparent traceability for “Eden Fresh” a consortium of Spanish fruit producers that import their food worldwide (mainly to Europe).
- WeSmart from Belgium. They are implementing a large microgrid in Brussels composed of 30 offices and 20 industrial workshops in a new business centre called GreenBizz
