Starting on March 26th, European SMEs can boost their business products and services thanks to the opportunities offered by BLOCKCHERS
On March 26th, applications for the Open Call call for the BLOCKCHERSproject will open. SMEs across Europe that work with DLT technologies (blockchain and similar) can apply to participate in this aid program.
This accelerator for SMEs will administer a € 750,000 fund in two calls to finance cases of use of blockchain technologies in traditional sectors. The selected SMEs will move to the implementation phase in which, throughout two phases, they will receive funding for their project and, other free services as infrastructure access, training courses or personalised coaching. A selected company could obtain up to € 50,000 of non-refundable financing.
Any SME that works with blockchain technologies is eligible as a participant. To participate, they should only complete a simple application form.
One of the main objectives of this project is to encourage collaboration between SMEs from traditional sectors and potential DLT specialists, as technology providers, and to promote knowledge about the benefits and opportunities of these technologies.
The project will be promoted in the Startup Olé event from March 26 to 28 in Salamanca you will be able to find us in booth nº 6.
BLOCKCHERS SUPPORTS BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGIES
BLOCKCHERS is a new project funded by the Horizon2020 Programme that will facilitate the adoption of Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT).
To address these challenges, a consortium of four organizations with specialized profiles has been created. ZABALA Innovation Consulting will coordinate this project as an expert in “cascade financing”, and as providers of innovation services to SMEs and start-ups throughout the EU. Innomine, is an expert company that works in cases of acceleration and use in the EEC market for digital innovation centers. Frankfurt School Blockchain Center (FSBC) is one of the most recognized institutions that provides training in DLT and organizes important events on blockchain technologies. ALASTRIA is the first blockchain network authorized in Spain and promoted by large corporations in a variety of sectors to undertake open innovation activities with SMEs and developers.
