Blockchers Use Case Scenario

Pact Care will implement the following use case scenario.

Today, physiotherapists cannot get reimbursed for higher quality care because  insurance companies can’t verify the integrity of the quality-related data that is shared with them.

“PhysioTrust” is a blockchain-based platform that enables the secure, auditable and patient centered collection and exchange of data related to quality of care (e.g. patient reported outcomes). This is the first step towards mutual trust and cooperation between physiotherapists, insurance and patients. In a second stage, this platform also enables automated reimbursement contracting (smart contracts) based on the quality metrics agreed upon and achieved.
